The Equality and Inclusion Partnership (EQuIP) have organised three #WeStandTother events across Warwickshire in September and October 2019.
The events create an ideal platform that community members can use to voice any issues and concerns. This information will be captured and included in relevant action plans that will be used to inform EQuIP and the public agencies to work together to bring positive change in the future.
Various public agencies will use the events to inform key community members of recent changes to local policing, especially concerning victims of hate crime and the journey they can expect. Support for victims will also be a key feature of the event and organisations will be present to offer advice and guidance.
Warwickshire County Council will be delivering a short presentation on how local community groups can access funding in order to keep their communities and buildings safe. This is particular useful for religious organisations and key people involved with places of worship.
